As Middle East Technical University (METU) celebrates its 70th anniversary, the first phase of a pioneering project in the world has been launched. METU faculty members are offering 80 people aged 60 and over the opportunity to learn a foreign language to engage in cognitive exercise, rather than simply staying at home. The project’s long-term aim is to develop specialized, technology-based language learning applications at FabuLAB Education to support cognitive vitality in older adults.
